⭐️ 1 star Very disappointing experience with the pharmacy at VNA Health Care. I was told my medication would take about 3 days to be ready. After waiting the 3 days, I went back only to be told to come back again. It has now been more than 7 days and I still have not received my medication. When I expressed my frustration about the delay, the pharmacist told me that if I wanted to help, I should apply for a job. I found that comment extremely inappropriate and unprofessional, especially when I was there as a patient trying to get my medication. I understand that pharmacies can get busy, but patients should not have to wait over a week for their medication without a clear explanation or resolution, and they certainly shouldn’t be spoken to this way when asking for help. I will be taking this matter further and reporting my experience to the appropriate licensing authority.

My experience here has always been excellent. Angelica in reception is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable, a real pleasure to work with.

very unprofessional. i went here for the first time, and as a first experience it was horrible. i was a new patient and the doctor didn’t greet me with a “ good morning” or even knocked on my door before entering and barely checked up on me, also i was early and he was very late. the nurse that scheduled my appointment didn’t even bother to ask me what time worked best for me and what day or what they had available before booking me an appointment. she just booked it and then proceeded to say that if it was a problem. I DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT recommend ANYONE GOING HERE. especially if you’re trying to seek for a new care.

Carmen, the receptionist was extremely polite helpful and very professional at my doctor visit today! And so was my Doctor Alexia Ortiz and her assistant. Please, continue to keep up the amazing work😊

Maria Acuna was a breath of fresh air! Not only did she welcome me with bright warm smile but asked me how I was doing! She made me feel right at home since this was 1st visit to your Elgin location! She informed me of my process and paperwork! She made things very easy and simple to understand! At the end of our interaction I felt safe knowing my personal info was in safe hands and billing was very simple! Thanks once again Maria take care always April M. You're very appreciated Queen!
